Organize Content With Folders

Folders Overview

Folders allow you to group content for easy organization, filtering and searching. When adding a folder the naming convention you use should quickly reference the content within that folder across the system. Folders are viewed in the Library Generator. All content objects accross the system can be placed into a folder. You will only be able to view content objects within a folder in the corresponding content type. For example, when viewing pages within a specified folder, only pages associated to the specified folder will display. However, all content objects within a folder can be viewed in Library Generator when viewing Folder Details.

Example Folder: Executive Team
Within this folder you would view images, text, templates, web pages and be able to view the object or description of the object. When building the executive web page, all content for this page will be grouped in this folder making for easy management.
