Add Media

Upload Media
There are two types of Media that can be added to the Library Generator: Embed Code or Hosted File. If the video is an .flv or .mp4 file that is hosted by an outside company, select the Hosted File option. If the video is hosted by a host that provides embed code, select Embed Code. YouTube, Vimeo and Facebook are only three of many hosts that provide auto-generated embed code.

Several Templates have been provided which allow for selecting videos from the Library Generator. Each has been styled for the Content Region in which they are placed and require a specific width. Please refer to the Template description, under the appropriate section, for width requirements. This will help determine width selection on auto-generated embed code.

When selecting auto-generated embed code from the host (YouTube, Facebook, etc), for the Blog or NewsRoom Post Templates, choose the “old method” (will be an option on their page) and add the following to the end of the object tag: wmode=”opaque”. If this is not added, social sharing capabilities will not work correctly. Example: <object width="540px" height="414px" wmode="opaque">
