Content Revisions

Content Revisions Overview

Content Revisions are used in order to edit content within a context of an object without changing the live content of a website. This allows administrators to revise a page, page layout, template, or predefined region individually. Administrators can also preview revisions before publishing them. These revisions give the ability to have content approved, or viewed before making live changes. Only a Page Revision can be previewed through the Page Preview link. Page layouts, templates and predefined regions must be added to a page to be previewed. When previewed they will display in the style of the page layout. Content Revisions can be published individually at any time.

Note: Object Contexts are revised individually.
